Janiak Manufacturing, Inc (JMI), Giant-Vac Municipal has been manufacturing municipal products since 1969.  We have been in the leaf vacuum equipment business and reducing leaf bulk sent to landfills for many years and have acquired the knowledge and skilled craftsmanship to produce top quality and reliable products.

JMI has used its engineering expertise to help municipalities comply their MS4 storm water programs with Federal and State regulations.  The EPA regulations have required many municipalities storm water programs to include curb-side leaf litter pick-up programs to reduce the leaf litter and prevent it from entering the storm drains.  In response to this mandate JMI has developed a Catch Basin Cleaner Assembly to be used in conjunction with our full line of equipment.  We also have a Curb Nozzle Assembly Attachment available for our tow-behind models.  Also available are models to reduce labor costs by one man operation of the Giant-Vac unit.

Giant-Vac Municipal equipment helps reduce leaf and debris bulk at a ratio of 12 to 1 which eases the landfill overflow problems.  Leaf bulk can be turned into usable mulch for organic gardening.   Wet leaves on the roads and highways are a safety hazard to all drivers.  Our line of leaf and debris removal equipment is designed to help municipalities clean our streets and storm drains.
